MXGP of Italy and MXGP of Germany date changes

New dates have been released today for two of the rounds of the 2020 MXGP series. Italy again has a date moved, this time it is Maggiora. And the only remaining round originally slated for May Teutschenthal has been postponed to August.
The MXGP of Italy, taking place at the legendary Maggiora circuit, will now be rescheduled from May 17 to July 5. The MXGP of Germany in Teutschenthal will move from May 24 to August 9.
"With the current pandemic of the coronavirus, these changes have been vital in order to ensure the health and safety of the staff, teams, riders and fans," Infront Moto Racing noted in their press release. They added that the FIM, FIM Europe and the local organisers are working hard to preserve the 2020 FIM Motocross World Championship calendar as much as possible.
MXGP is now planning a return to racing with the MXGP of Russia, taking place at the impressive Orlyonok venue on June 7, 2020.
