Nitro Circus tour kicks off

The 13-date Nitro Circus Live tour of the UK and Ireland kicks off on Friday (June 3) at Sixways Stadium, Worcester.
The insane action sports show will travel the country and also take in three dates in Ireland before signing off on July 3 at the South of England Showground in Sussex.
Among the athletes launching themselves off an assortment of ramps will be British FMX star Jamie Squibb.
"It's going to be crazy,” he said. "It will have the best FMX guys in the world throwing down every single trick that has ever been done on a motorcycle. Then you've got the BMX crew, the mountain bikers, the skaters, rollerbladers. You've got the guys on the contraptions doing crazy jumps in canoes and on penny-farthings. It's just non-stop from start to finish.”
Squibby, the country's top freestyle rider, joined the Nitro Circus for its indoor tour earlier this year and didn't hesitate when he was invited back for the outdoor shows.
"I've always just enjoyed riding freestyle and when the tour came to Europe and they had four shows in the UK in February they were looking for a UK guy and I was the guy that's been pushing myself the hardest and reaching the highest standards.
"So I was asked to ride in the UK shows and it all went really, really well. I got on great with everybody and just had an amazing time. Then I was asked straight away to ride the rest of the European tour with them. I was blown away. I couldn't believe it. I was so stoked.”
