Suzuki is inviting riders to a free day of instruction and practice with reigning AX champ Thomas Ramette and his SR75 Molson Suzuki team-mate Cyrille Coulon to celebrate its 2016 Monster Energy Arenacross title.
The Day of Champions takes place on June 10 at Apex MX near Worcester. Riders will be able to sharpen their skills with the French pairing focussing on everything from cornering to jumps and body positioning.
Team manager and former MXGP mechanic Geoff Walker – who was responsible for setting up Ramette's championship-winning RM-Z450 – will also be on hand to help riders with bike preparation and set-up.
"We are really looking forward to a great day with Suzuki UK and their current as well as possible future customers,” said Geoff. "For the guys to put on a day to give back to the moto community is great and we know we will have a great day at a great facility.
"Both Cyrille and Thomas are really looking forward to getting back onto UK soil and hanging out with the Suzuki family and their fellow dirt bike riders after our latest adventures Stateside and on the continent.
"It is also fantastic to have our man Carl Nunn back involved with the team, offering coaching and tips from his vast experience to all on the day as well as our planned SR75 Training Experience Days which will offer motocross and supercross coaching and set-up both here in the UK and abroad.”
As well as plenty of track time for riders on their own bikes, Suzuki's range of
RM-Z machinery will be available to
demo with special offers for anyone who places orders on the day.
"Following Thomas Ramette's stunning win in the Arenacross series – as well as the SR75-Molson Suzuki victory in the team championship – we're delighted to be able to announce our Day of Champions,” said Suzuki GB Marketing Manager Rob Cooper. "It's a great opportunity to ride with and get some expert instruction from those at the very top of their game.
"It's also a good excuse to try the latest offerings in the RM-Z range with both the new 250 and award-winning RM-Z450 available to demo. We're looking forward to seeing everyone who comes along and welcoming riders regardless of what bikes they currently own.”
Apex is just off junction six of the M5. Riders can register by going to the Suzuki Bikes UK Facebook page and searching the newsfeed for a link.
