Portsmouth's Shaun Simpson Rider of the Meeting - Mitch Young

Congratulations to Portsmouth rider Mitch Young, who competes in the MX2 class for the club, for becoming the latest Shaun Simpson Rider of the Meeting of 2016 after his impressive performance at the clubs second round at West Meon in March.
Mitch managed to get out the gate quickest in all three races, holeshotting each one and led from start to finish to secure all three moto wins. Mitch was on target to secure another three wins at Swanmore recently but a puncture denied him in the final moto, but he still came away happy with another overall win.
Mitch is an extremely polite young rider, who is a true pleasure to know.
He was awarded his prize at the Swanmore race meeting, and in his SS24 goody bag, he received the patriotic SS24 trophy, stickers, poster and Bawbags underwear, kindly donated by Shaun Simpson, plus a voucher to spend at Ironsight Paintballing Centre, kindly donated by Paul Dunford.
Well done Mitch, an absolute delight to watch, perfect performances each time you ride, keep it up - I reckon we could be looking at the new MX2 Club Champion!
