Report: East Cumbria a Motocross club

The East Cumbria a Motocross club held it's first round of the new season at the Brampton track near Carlisle.
The Autos were on their own separate track and Charlie Henderson was the man to beat on the day as he took maximum points and three wins. Robbie Park had to settle for second this time around and Jack Keith took home third.
First up on the main track was the Junior 65 class and Oliver Barr was the second man of the day to take maximum points and the overall win ahead of Josh Gray in second who finished the day just two points ahead of third placed rider Jack Abbott.
In the Small Wheel 85 category George Hollins dominated the day taking three race victories and the overall from Ryan Thompson in second place and third went to Kyle McNicol.
Next up were the Big Wheel 85 riders and Dan Bewley on his Kawasaki took two wins split by a second race third which gave him the overall honours from second race winner Laal Col Scott. Sam Jackson rounded off the podium positions with third.
Bike It Cosworth Yamaha rider Jay Hague took the Youth Open overall win with maximum points after a solid days racing. John Joe Wright took second spot and Adam Thirwell finished the day in third overall.
In the Adult A category Jamie Law took all three race victories on his way to the overall but was pushed all the way by Brad Todd as he showed great speed on his 250F. John Robson made it a KTM 1-2-3 as he took home third overall.
In the Adult A Junior class Scott Hail took two race wins and a second to give him the advantage into round 2 over last race winner Joe Hodgson. Scott Richardson rounded off the top three in third.
In the Adult B class local rider Arran Potts was the top man as he took the overall win ahead of Zack Milburn in second and third place went to race one winner Ryan Martin.
Last up were the Adult C class and it was Stephen Humphries who took home the biggest trophy with two wins and a second from race one winner David Morgan. John Carruthers finished the day in third place overall.
