IT is, and you may find this hard to believe, 15 years since the French Scorpa concern first cracked into life with its first ever (Rotax powered) trials model.

To celebrate the momentous occasion, the go-ahead Ales factory has just released its plans to release Limited Edition "15th Anniversary” models of both the SY250R two-stroke and SY250FR four-stroke models. Base colour of both models is a distinctive blue, replacing the white plastics of the current range.
The ever-popular two-stroke SY250R, with its bullet-proof Yamaha TYZ motor, is treated to a cool titanium front pipe, carbon exhaust cover, red brake calipers, ‘champagne' anodised triple-clamps, black handlebars (to match the frame) and other subtle tweaks including a distinctive "15th Anniversary” engraving.
Meanwhile, the SY250FR, with its meaty Yamaha DOHC engine, has also been given a trip past the goodies counter and emerges with similar mods to the stroker including carbon guards, ‘champagne' anodised chassis castings as well as the triple-clamps, red calipers, black ‘bars, "15th Anniversary” engraving and a really trick graphic kit.
T+MX understands that only 75 models of each will be released in total and because of this, supply will be strictly limited and if you want one – whether two-stroke or four-stroke – they will be available to order only. So get hold of your local Scorpa dealer right now, or if you don't know who your local dealer is contact importer Nigel Birkett on 01229-716806.
