Motocross

THE Brits took Sweden by storm on Sunday!

True Brit Tommy Searle became only the second rider all year to take a moto win off Toni Cairoli when the 18-year-old defied everything the Italian could chuck at him in the MX2 opener at Uddevalla, Sweden, while adopted British MX1 champ, Ken De Dycker, devastated his MX1 rivals an hour later for his first ever moto win before sealing the overall aswell later in the afternoon for his maiden GP win and CAS Honda's ninth.

Both were outstanding, but so too were Gareth Swanepoel for his second moto fourth, Shaun Simpson in his return to the top ten and Billy MacKenzie, back in the top six despite discomfort, while there were points all round for Carl Nunn, Jason Dougan, Jake Nicholls, Mike Brown, James Noble and Gordon Crockard. Only poor Tom Church missed out after suffering wretched luck.
