Seewer to join Wilvo Yamaha
By Beth Hoggarth on 25th Oct 17
Arnaud Tonus extended his contract into 2018 back in the summer and Louis Vosters, in negotiation with Yamaha Europe to run a third rider in recent months, has now also signed up Jeremy Seewer!
The two-time MX2 world runner-up, who must move to MXGP next year, was left in the lurch by Suzukis withdrawal but clearly had a further trump card in addition to talent he will undoubtedly bring long-term personal sponsor IWS with him.
Interested parties are still keeping a discreet silence at the moment but Seewer has already been seen on the Yamaha and sources close to the action have confirmed that its a done deal.
The signing also means that Wilvo can stake a claim to being the strongest satellite team in the history of the sport, boasting three current-year GP moto winners in their ranks.
