Simon Laengenfelder sidelined by arm injury
By Team TMX on 10th May 23
After dominating both motos at the MXGP of Spain, Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing's Simon Laengenfelder was full of confidence for the season ahead but unfortunately sustained an injury to his right arm just a couple of days after his double win and underwent surgery that night.
The arm injury will, of course, sideline him from upcoming grands prix and further information on timelines is set to be published in due course.
"Simon crashed in a normal training session yesterday, unfortunately, and broke his right arm,” said Davide De Carli (Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing Team Manager). “He immediately had surgery with Dr. Nannarini and his team last night. I cannot thank them enough! This is the worst part of the sport, but I am sure that Simon will come back soon and stronger."
