By TMX Archives on 4th Feb 10

RYAN Dungey's winning streak in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, and FIM World Championship came to an end last weekend at the AT&T Park in San Francisco when all the Suzuki rider could salvage was a fourth in the Main event.
In front of over 41,000 hyper fans it was the green machine of Ryan Villopoto that claimed the chequered flag, ahead of Yamaha's Josh Hill and Honda's David Millsaps. Meanwhile defending champion James Stewart became the latest on the injury bench when closer inspection of his injured wrist, that was sustained in Phoenix, revealed a broken scaphoid. Stewart underwent surgery last Friday and it is not yet known when he will return to racing.
