POLISH KTM rider Taddy Blazusiak unexpectedly wrapped up the World Indoor Enduro Cup title at the penultimate round of the series in Vigo, Spain, at the weekend. With one or two of the series' top riders opting not to contest the event, Blazusiak continued his unbeaten form, while Swedish Husaberg rider Joakim Ljunggren and Spain's Ivan Cervantes rounded out the overall top three.

"IT'S less than two weeks into the New Year and already I have a world title,” commented a thrilled Blazusiak at the post race press conference in Vigo. "I wasn't even thinking about winning the title here but it's a championship I've been trying to win for three years. To finally have it is fantastic.”

Once again performing a level above all his rivals, it wasn't so much Taddy's blistering form that ensured he won the crown, it was more thanks to the disappointing opening race performance by Ivan Cervantes – the defending title holder and the man second to Taddy in the point's standings.
