The Hunters and the Hare

Motocross

Some 162 starters, but only 30 riders recorded as finishers! The emphasis being on the word recorded.

Those amazing statistics will give you the first clue that the 2007 March Hare Reliability trial was more like an endurance test.

Held on Sunday and based at the Hunters Hall Inn, at Kingscote in Gloucestershire, it was a mud plug for most of the way with the inter-section going often more difficult than the sections themselves. It rained continuously and with strong winds at the more exposed sections, many of the large entry retired and were back in the relative dry and warmth of the start long before the end of the event.
