The Law's out in force

GLORIOUS sunshine and perfect track conditions welcomed the riders for the fourth and final round of the popular MX365 evening motocross, at Whittas Park, Bassen-thwaite, run by the Cumbria Twin-shock SC last Wednesday night.
With all the classes still to be decided, racingwas fast and furious all night and the spectators all got behind theirfavourite riders as they battled it out, and there were some battles.
First to the line were the non-championship C1riders and Ryan Glendining shot out of the gate ahead of Neil Atkinson,and stayed there to claim race one.
In race two it was again Glendining who got outfront, but after a mishap on the hill he went down hard and took nofurther part for the rest of the night. It was Brad Walker who claimedthe second race with Atkinson second again.
Race three saw John Robson Senior claim the thirdrace ahead of Atkinson and Walker. Atkinson took the overall on thenight though, with Robson second, and Mark Cockburn and Walker thirdand fourth.
The C Class riders were up next and race one sawseries leader Mark Farr having to tussle with Barrie Goodfellow andScot Buchanan, with John Robson (Junior) keeping a watchful eye.Goodfellow took it though, with Farr and Buchanan coming home secondand third.
Farr and Buchanan battled it out in race two afterGavin Lowes, who got the holeshot, faded back to third after the thirdlap, Farr taking the win. Farr completed his night by again taking thewin in race three and the overall ahead of Buchanan in second andDuncan Bell third.
