Just three points in it as Villopoto storms to victory...
The chase is really on in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, and FIM World Championships, after a flag to flag victory for Kawasaki's Ryan Villopoto in the main event at Anaheim 3. The win sees Villopoto move into third on the series leaderboard, just three points behind current joint leaders Ryan Dungey and Josh Hill.
For round six, the series returned to the Angel Stadium, Anaheim, and in front of over 34,000 fans, Villopoto put in an awesome performance. After gaining the holeshot award, the Kawasaki rider just got stronger and stronger throughout the 20 lap event, never looking back as he eked out a lead to bag his second win of the series.
