Up the Hill' with True Grit!

TRUE Grit Off-Road got its 2010 Putoline National Hare Scramble Championship off to a flying start, at Driffield, on Saturday and Sunday last weekend.
Clerk of the course Martyn Field got the afternoon race festivities underway with the kids and ladies classes. Luke Flack got the holeshot and led the pack way into the distance. Luke maintained his lead all the way to the flag with Michael Gilby finishing second and Tim Gardham in third place.
The younger class of Juniors had to work extremely hard to battle the slippery conditions. Ben Turner put in a fantastic performance to come in first place, completing five laps of the course and six minutes ahead of second placed rider Brandon Sharples with Archie Flack in third. In the Ladies class, Jade Gordon romped home completing an astounding five laps and a massive 16 minutes ahead of second placed rider Gina Bewlay.
