Even the weather was extremely kind as the packed race programme got underway on Saturday.
Bruce Dingle got the best start in the opening450cc race and held the lead throughout to secure top points. JamesAddy had to settle for second, Shane Hewitt was third ahead of ChrisHarrison, Phil Daley and Stephen Booth who all crossed the line withinthe same half second.
