After a six-week break the Enduro World Championship returned to action with a bang at the GP of Spain in Puerto Lumbreras.Delivering the home win he and the Spanish crowd had hoped for, KTMs Ivan Cervantes won both days in the Enduro 2 class at the GP of Spain while returning to his form of old, Christophe Nambotin (KTM) put his South American struggles behind him to top the Enduro 3 class podium both days.

Capitalising on a crash by championship leader Antoine Meo (KTM), Husqvarna's Matti Seistola became the surprise Enduro 1 class winner on day one, before Meo reinstated himself at the head of the class with a win on day two.
Australia's Matt Phillips (Husqvarna) continued to establish himself as one of the revelations of the 2013 season by claiming a double win in the Enduro Junior class.
The GP of Spain also marked the opening round of the Women's Cup series and defending champion Laia Sanz surprisingly ditched her factory Gas Gas hours before the start of the race to ride a borrowed KTM to victory both days.
For the British contingent there were strong results all round from those that finished.
But for David Knight the event finished before it had really begun as a crash en route to the opening special test saw him retire from the event with an injured thumb.
Unable to ride on, Knighter headed back to the UK early on Sunday to find out exactly what damage he had done.
Husaberg's Jamie McCanney continued to assert his domination on the Enduro Youth class by securing another pair of wins in Spain. "It's been great to get a double class win,” said McCanney.
"I managed to open up a good lead on day one and even with a big mistake I was able to hold on for victory.
"The conditions were tough, especially on a 125, but everything worked out well. Day two was harder, I wasn't sure I'd be able to do two more laps mid-way through the day, but I just kept pushing and got another win.”
Despite her recent injuries leading into the GP of Spain, Jane Daniels (Husaberg) made a solid start to her Women's Cup championship with a 2-3 scorecard.
"Considering all of the injuries I've had leading into this race I'm pretty made up to have finished both days on the podium,” remarked Daniels.
"This was really the first time I raced in quite a while. On day one I found it hard to switch into race mode but as the day progressed I began to figure things out
again.
"Day two was more or less the same as day one,” continued Jane. "But by the end of the day the track was in a mess.
There was no flow and it was either riding through a hole or powder rut.
"It's definitely been one of the toughest races I've done so I'm very happy to have made it onto the podium.”
