Tony Cairoli makes his point

The changes to the points-scoring system at next seasons GPs havent gone down well with eight-time world champion Tony Cairoli.
In an interview with Brazilian journalist Mau Haas from BRMX.com.br the Italian wasn't pulling any punches on the plan to pay points in Saturday's qualifying racers.
He also hinted that the new system – despite being officially announced – wasn't set in stone.
"Nobody agreed from the riders – nobody like it so we will see,” he said.
"For us it's one race more. We are talking about taking the risk away because this year we had a lot of injury and now we are putting more risk so it's not really the best but there is still time before the season starts.”
Cairoli also disagrees with the extended calendar that features 19 rounds in 2016 but admitted he expects it to be trimmed back to 18 rounds by the time the championship gets under way.
"I think it's too much. It's a lot of races and a lot of work for everybody, a lot of travelling around but they always put more races.
Injury
"But then there is going to be one less, always, so I think it's going to be the same as this year.”
The good news for fans of the Red Bull KTM rider is that he's recovering well from the wrist injury that ended his title defence this year.
"My arm is good only I still miss some muscles and I'm still doing some physiotherapy to get completely the mobility of the arm but the injury's healing is good.”The changes to the points-scoring system at next season's GPs haven't gone down well with eight-time world champion Tony Cairoli.
