Trials Torque: A grand charity effort

YEADON Guiseley Motor Club released details of the amount of money collected at the Renee Smith Memorial Trial which was run at Dob Park, Otley, Yorks, on December 28.
A grand total of £1,050 will be donated to charitable causes in the next few weeks.
The 147 rider-entry helped to break the £1,000 barrier.
Amazingly, competitors travelled from as far afield as Truro, Shrewsbury, Chester, Ashby de la Zouch, Oxford, Wrexham, Lincoln, Buxton and Newcastle to support the trial despite widespread flooding in Yorkshire over Christmas period.
The club thanks all involved, officials, observers and competitors.
