Trials Torque: All set for arena blast

Britains leading ladies and girls plus some exciting sidecars will get the weekend away on Saturday, with a 10am start and two laps of 10 cracking sections for Qualifying, then a single lap of 10 sections for the Final.

NORTH Berks MCC isNORTH Berks MCC is running the British Arena Trial Championship at its famous Seymours Arena venue, Aston Tirrold, near Didcot, Oxon this weekend, August 8/9.
Topping the bill is reigning World Women's Trials Champion Emma Bristow and Emma is the target for all her rivals who will be gunning to beat her. 
Contenders include multi British Champ and world No.2 Becky Cook, plus Donna Fox, Jess Bown, Chloe Richardson, Victoria Payne and all the up and coming girls like newly-crowned B Class British Champion Alicia Robinson, Gabby Whitham, Niamh Richardson, Jen Stephen, Charlotte Kimber and Hannah Richardson.
When the girls finish their Qualifying lap, the sidecars will set off on their first lap. 
With Jon Tuck/ Matt Sparkes, Josh/ Luke Golding, Rupert/ Chris Kimber and a few more chairs to battle it out, top-class three-wheel action is guaranteed. 
Sunday then sees the unique Berks Bonanza Super Trial kick off at 10.30am with two laps of nine sections for Qualifying with this year taking in the awesome Seymours Arena Waterfall with all the riders getting a proper go as this is usually only used for the final. 
This should sort the men from the boys!
The top eight contestants will Qualify and go through to the final where they all start with a clean sheet. 
Then, after section five the four riders with the highest score will drop out, leaving the top four to fight it out over the last five sections for the top prize of £800. 
Freshly-crowned British champion James Dabill will have his first outing at Seymours on the new Vertigo and it will be the first time many spectators have seen the machine.
With Michael Brown still out due to injury who will give James a run for his money? Will it be the young guns Iwan Roberts or Jack Sheppard?
This year there will also be the two Youth 125 riders Toby Martyn and Jack Peace so can one of these two burst through Qualifying and into the Final?
