Victory Sprint for Knight...
By TMX Archives on 1st Apr 10

Fine weather, a spectacular four-mile special test, and a long list of Britain's best enduro riders ensured great racing at the opening two rounds of the '10 ACU British Enduro Sprint Championship. KTM's international stars David Knight and Taddy Blazusiak claimed a 1-2 finish at the head of the Elite class on both days while Under 23 class enduro newcomers Alex Rockwell and Daniel McCanney proved that Knighter's certainly not going to be the only top flight enduro racer to come out of the Isle of Man
.As expected Britain's number one enduro rider David Knight claimed a double Elite class win, staged at Chavenage Farm in Gloucestershire, as he powered his factory backed KTM to two dominant wins.
With the event marking the start of Europe's first ever enduro sprint series championship, organisers GMC Events Ltd were blessed with fine weather, and come the weekend the track was in perfect conditions.
Completing over one-and-a-half hours of special test racing during Saturday's opening round, Knighter never looked like doing anything other than winning, despite visiting Pole Taddy Blazusiak coming within one-second of beating the Manxman on lap three.
