THE Monster Energy AMA Supercross, and FIM World Championships headed outside the American border for round ten of the series at Toronto. Over 42,000 devoted Canadians piled into the Rogers Centre stadium, possibly hoping to witness Kawasaki's Chad Reed make his comeback.

Everything was going well for the Aussie; setting a fast lap time in practice, Reed looked to be certain to appear on the start line for the Main event. But as practice continued, Reed went down, injuring his right thumb just as his left wrist was about healed. The injury is likely to keep Reed out for the next round, possibly two.

With Reed unable to start, the attention switched back to the ongoing battle between Suzuki's Ryan Dungey and Kawasaki's Ryan Villopoto.
