Weston Beach Race 2021 is ready for its shootout!
By Anthony Sutton on 30th Sep 21
The wild southwest outpost of Weston-super-Mare will host the 38th Anniversary of the Weston Beach Race this weekend October 1 - 3.
The unique event transforms the sleepy seaside town into a hive of activity as thousands of racers and thousands more fans head to Weston for what the organisers RHL Activities call the maddest, baddest and biggest event in the UK off-road calendar.
The team have been busy building a six-mile race course on the beach complete with the infamous two km start straight and a plethora of man-made dunes, jumps and moguls for the riders to navigate.
Although information on whos entered has been difficult to obtain we believe that leading stars including Todd Kellett, Ashley Greedy and Steve Holcombe are set to appear along with former WBR front runner Mel Pocock who has come out of retirement to take on the event.
Everyone planning on attending the event is reminded that proof of a negative lateral flow test is required for all visitors over the age of 16, including racers, media, traders and spectators. This proof must be in the form of a dated photo of your test or a negative test logged on the NHS App. If you dont have this then you wont be admitted entry.
