Another pair of maximum points hauls in the ACU British Sidecarcross Championship means that, after Rounds Four and Five at Dean Moor and Culham, Brett Wilkinson and Joe Millard now sit on 270 points with just 108 left to play for.
Even with some fairly basic maths - and the limited information available - it’s clear they’re on course to wrap up the title at the penultimate round at Wakes Colne, Essex on August 9.
By our reckoning, they hold a 77-point advantage over Ant Milliar and Jon Hunt, who sit second overall while also leading the Expert division in their first full season in the British Championship.
Currently third in points are Tony Grahame/ Jak Watson who hole a slight advantage over George Kinge/ Liam Hodges and Jack Rogers/ Ryan Beavis.
