Ken Roczen delivered a masterclass in consistency to claim victory at a weather-ravaged Round 14 of the 2026 Monster Energy Supercross Championship in Cleveland, as the 450 title fight took another dramatic twist.

For the first time in three decades, Supercross visited Huntington Bank Field on the shores of Lake Erie - and it did so in brutal conditions. Rain, cold temperatures and swirling winds created a treacherous circuit that tested even the sport’s elite, with the Triple Crown format adding further unpredictability.

The Progressive Insurance Cycle Gear Suzuki rider put together a faultless 2-2-1 scorecard across the three races to secure his fourth win of the season, closing to within a single point of championship leader Hunter Lawrence.

Lawrence looked in control early on. The Honda HRC Progressive rider dominated Race 1 with a commanding wire-to-wire victory, beating Roczen by over five seconds, while Justin Cooper completed the top three.

Conditions worsened for Race 2, but Cooper thrived to take the win ahead of Roczen, with Chase Sexton third. Lawrence recovered from a poor start to finish fifth, limiting the damage - at least for the time being.

The final race proved decisive.

Roczen grabbed the holeshot and checked out immediately, building a comfortable lead as chaos unfolded behind him. Lawrence, needing a strong result, crashed heavily in the whoops and dropped outside the top 10. A second fall compounded his misery, leaving him to salvage just 14th.

Roczen, meanwhile, was untouchable, sealing the race win by 8.7 seconds over Cooper Webb, with Justin Hill snatching third on the final lap.

The result handed Roczen the overall victory and his 27th career win, moving him into a tie for 10th on the all-time list.

Behind him, Webb edged Cooper for second overall on a tiebreak, while Lawrence’s difficult final race left him sixth overall and his championship lead reduced from 10 points to just one.

With three rounds remaining - and Eli Tomac sidelined through injury - the title fight is now shaping into a straight duel between Lawrence and Roczen.

In a season already packed with drama, Cleveland may prove to be the turning point.
