Max Anstie came, saw, and absolutely conquered in Buenos Aires, kicking off his 2025 World Supercross Championship campaign with a flawless clean sweep in SX2 - topping Superpole and winning all three main events under the lights in Argentina.

The 32-year-old Brit looked right at home as he dominated for Team GSM Powered by Star Racing, looking sharp and smooth from the very first practice session. It was vintage Anstie - fast, controlled and classy - as he brushed aside months of frustration following the leg injury that sidelined him earlier in the year.

“It was a crazy night and great to be here in Argentina,” said Anstie. The fans are amazing. Every time I come here – I’ve been here for a couple of MXGPs back in the day – and man, the fans in Argentina are the best in the world.”

Behind him, defending WSX champ Shane McElrath kept him honest on his Quad Lock Honda, finishing second overall after a hard-fought night that left him wanting more.

“It was a lot of work tonight – a lot harder than it should have been. We came in prepared, but we still have work to do. The team has been putting in a lot of time, and we’re going to get back to it. We’ll be back next weekend in Canada. It was some hard racing tonight. The track was really technical. There weren’t a lot of lines, and they were slippery.”

Coty Schock rounded out the podium for Rick Ware Racing, taking third overall after an impressive run of consistency.

The SX2 World Supercross title race now heads to Vancouver for Round Two on November 15, where Anstie will look to keep his perfect streak alive.
