Two-time MX2 World Champion and double AMA Supercross 250 East title-holder Tom Vialle is set to line up as a wildcard at the FIM World Supercross Championship British Grand Prix in Birmingham - just as tickets for the event are about to drop.

Presale access opens at 10am on Wednesday, July 1, with general sale following at 10am on Friday, July 3, as fans get their first shot at securing seats for the series’ return to the UK. The October 10, 2026 date at Alexander Stadium is already shaping up to be one of the standout rounds of the season.

Vialle’s inclusion adds serious depth to the line-up, with the Frenchman making his World Supercross debut in what will also mark his first appearance in the championship. Having already proven himself on both sides of the Atlantic, his presence brings another layer of intrigue to a field that’s continuing to build momentum heading into Birmingham.

For UK fans, it’s a rare chance to see one of the sport’s most decorated current riders compete live – in a series not seen on British soil since 2023.

World Supercross Director of Racing Thomas Covington welcomed the move: “Tom making his World Supercross debut is hugely exciting. Bringing him in as a wildcard adds real quality to the field in Birmingham and is exactly the kind of opportunity we want to create across the championship.”

Vialle himself is relishing the opportunity: “I’m really looking forward to racing in Birmingham. It’s always exciting to compete in a new environment and in front of different fans. The UK has a strong passion for the sport, and I’m ready to get out there and put on a show.”

The British GP serves as Round Two of the 2026 championship, a crucial early marker in a global calendar that spans Calgary, Buenos Aires, the Gold Coast and South Africa. With momentum starting to build and valuable points on the line, Birmingham could prove pivotal in shaping the early title picture.

Demand is expected to be high, with fans encouraged to register early for presale access via the official World Supercross website.
