Vertigo Motors has announced the launch of the first of its exciting 2017 model range, with the updated version of the Vertigo Combat Camo - the model now being available in both 250cc and 300cc capacities. And the bikes are already in production at its Barcelona based factory.
The updates have utilised the experience gained from customer feedback, something very important to Vertigo, and from factory riders James Dabill and Jeroni Fajardo competing at the highest level, something which has already seen the Combat achieve two victories at the Scottish Six Days Trial (2015/2016) thanks to development rider and team manager Dougie Lampkin, its first national title, the 2015 British Championship through Dabill and record podium finishes in the 2016 FIM Trial World Championship courtesy of Dabill and Fajardo, the 2017 model has been improved accordingly.
One major update is new ECU mapping with the result being claimed as improved performance, increased torque, smoother power delivery, re inertia, easier starting and improved fuel consumption all from one hit.
Suspension has been tweaked with the Tech forks now sporting aluminium sliders and the Reiger rear shock with rebound adjustment.
A modifed exhaust further enhances performance while a new transparent fuel tank boasts increased capacity.
With a whole host of refinements the 2017 Vertigo Combat Camo is an exciting prospect and TMX will be out there on one just as soon as they arrive and are unpacked...
