Greeves mounted Liam Robinson was Expert Britshock Champ in 2022

The Rockshocks Classic series – formerly the KIA series – has been a trials success story for a decade now, since its inception back in 2014. It is the result of the ongoing collaboration and hard work of a trio of enthusiasts – Gerry Minshall, Peter Salt and Alan Wright

Although the majority of events are run under ACU jurisdiction, the series remains stoically independent. The format for each trials is two laps of a 20-section course, all off road. Classes are Air-cooled Mono, Twinshock and Pre-72 Britshock and there are both Expert and Clubman routes.

The original intention was a series to cater for older Spanish machines but ironically this didn't prove a success as the series took its own course and has evolved naturally, spearheaded by Twinshock and Britshock with later Air-cooled Monos on the rise. With a peak entry of 224 at a Sheffield and Hallamshire round at Hathersage, the series must be doing something right.

Current Champs are Chris Garlick (A/Cooled Mono), Miles Jones (Twinshock) and Liam Robinson (Britshock) in the Experts with Ian Cheetham, Michael Platts and Martin Gilbert in the respective Clubman classes.

The series organisers try and ring the changes, introducing new clubs and venues each year while retaining the option to return to old favourites.

2023 dates and clubs are included. Riders' best seven scores from the 11 rounds will be counted for the final Championship positions.
