SSDT Preview: Where to head on day two - Tuesday
By John Dickinson on 27th Apr 16
A new route today, which regulars will relish while newcomers will know no difference!
Gone is the traditional trek north on the road to Laggan before heading cross country to spectator favourite Creag Lundie before returning via dreaded Clunes forest.
This route was the scene of mass time losses last year with even winner Dougie Lampkin blotting his time card while team-mate James Dabill saw his chances of victory disappear with over 30 faults.
This time the field heads south and then over Loch Linnhe on the Corran ferry to an all new group at Ardgour on the far side.
This is recommended for spectators who can watch everyone through then head to either Uachan or old favourites Witches burn or Trotters burn. Riders have much further to go with a trip along Loch Shiel.
