All systems go for 2018 KIA National Twinshock Championship
By Team TMX on 12th Jan 18
Its official the 2018 KIA National Twinshock Championship is underway with Regs and Entry forms for the opening round of the nine-event series out now.
Aqueduct Classic in north Wales is in charge of the opener. And although they have hosted previous rounds this trial is at a NEW venue so will be fresh to all entrants. The venue is PlasOnn Farm, Selatyn, which is near Oswestry but dont ask for a postcode as we are informed it wont work on a SatNav!
The event will be well flagged from the Gledrid roundabout on the A5 so dont panic. Classes are as usual with Historic Spanish/ Pre-78 Twinshock, Open Twin-shock, Britshock and Air-cooled Mono.
There will be Expert and Clubman classes/ courses so something for all abilities. All the trials will comprise two laps of a 20-section course of several miles in length. The idea is a good ride out on your bike without wandering too distant from the start. All events are off-road.
You can download regs and entry form from either the KIA National Twinshock Championship website or theres a link from the Aqueduct website. All the signs are for a bumper entry.
Well keep you up to date and of course run a series preview nearer the date which is now approaching fast.
