TrialGP Great Britain takes place next weekend (July 8-9) when the Parkwood venue at Tong near Bradford hosts round five of the 2017 Trial World Championship.

Staged by the ACU with the support of British-based series promoter Sport7, the event signals the start of the second half of a season that's seen a radical reworking of the championship format.

Building on the success of last year's debut event at the venue, fans will be treated to two full days of action and entertainment with the new-look series taking the championship to the next level.

Yorkshire brothers Dan and Ben Hemingway have used their wealth of international trials experience to plot 15 testing sections, some completely new and some heavily reworked, to stretch the talents of the best riders on the planet. The compact course – ideal for spectators to follow the action – will be tackled twice on the Sunday with a short interval between laps.

TrialGP Britain is very much a two-day event with Saturday's programme offering a packed schedule of entertainment and the chance to rub shoulders with the superstars of the sport.

Official practice fills a two-hour slot before the riders prepare to go against the clock in the timed qualification section to determine starting order for Sunday. Introduced for the first time in 2017, so far this has thrown up some big surprises, delivered non-stop drama and quickly established itself as a firm fan favourite.

Throughout the day there will also be an Oset Trial taking place, showcasing the skills of the next generation of stars.

Fans will get free access to the paddock where they can check out the factory exotica and shop for bargains in the trade village where all the major British trials importers will have stands.

Of course, the most important reason to spend next weekend at Tong is so you can cheer on home heroes James Dabill, Jack Price, Iwan Roberts, Toby Martyn, Dan and Jack Peace and Billy Green as they go head-to-head with the world's leading trials riders.

Pre-sale tickets have now closed but tickets will be available on the gate priced at £25 for an adult weekend pass or £20 for Sunday only. Weekend passes or Sunday-only tickets for children aged five to 15 are just £5 and there's no charge for under fives. Onsite camping on Friday and Saturday is £25 per night.
