TRials Torque: KIA at the double

Trials

NORTHALLERTON Motor Club are running the fifth round of the 2016 KIA National Twin-shock Championship at Timberholme Farm, Laskill, Bilsdale, on July 30-31.

This will be the first two-day event in the series' short but spectacularly successful life and both days will count separately toward the Championship.

Riders can enter for a single day if they don't wish to ride two.

The vastly-experienced CoC Bill Pye has laid out dozens of successful Pre-65 and Twin-shock trials, knows the area like the back of his hand and promises two days of really good trials land.

It will feature rock gullies, hill climbs and small manageable steps which will all contribute to good traditional Pre-65 and Twin-shock sections.

Bill is also a Fantic Twinshock guru should you have any problems during the weekend.

The course will offer a good ride of approximately five miles round, taking in 20 sections with two laps both days.

Camping is available in the start area where there will be toilets, but NO on site water.

But there will be a food van on site all weekend.

Entry Form and Regs are available on the Kia trials championship web site nationaltwinshocktrialschampionship.co.uk

The series has hit or exceeded three-figure entries for the opening four rounds and the Northallerton trial will be every bit as good as, if not better than, the excellent trials that have preceeded them.

If you don't know about this series there are classes for Historic Spanish Twinshock, Open Twin-shock, Pre-65 (Britshock) and Air-cooled monos.

Choose from either Expert or Clubman route

Dig out those bikes, get entered and have a great time because the KIA series has been designed just for YOU!
