Trials Torque: Nene men make a splash

NENE Valley club members and John Lee Motorcycles stalwarts Jonathan Lee and Steve Swanson ventured north, as they sometimes do, for a bash round the Allan Jefferies National in deepest Yorkshire last Sunday.
At the very last section up Halton Gill waterfall, Jonny got it wrong and despite the carefully (but wrongly as it turned out) placed minder both lads ewnded up in a bit of a heap.
"He was in the wrong spot,” laughed Jonathan as they splashed around, "you just can't get the staff nowadays!”
Swanny had the last laugh though finishing tenth in the Clubman class although I bet Jonny made him wash the bikes on Monday!
