Triumph has gone electric in the youth off-road market with the launch of its brand-new TXP range, developed in partnership with OSET.

Triumph has what it takes to entice new riders to the sport with its range of TXP-12, TXP-16, TXP-20 and TXP-24 electric motorcycles

The four-bike line-up – TXP-12, TXP-16, TXP-20 and TXP-24 – is designed to grow with young riders, from toddlers finding their balance at three years old right through to teenagers (and even adults up to 90kg). Each bike features age-specific frames, controls and suspension, plus adjustable power modes so riders can build confidence and skill step by step.

Key to the new range is a clever 2-in-1 modular design – riders can switch between seated off-road mode (XPlore) and a standing trials-style mode in minutes. The whole line-up comes finished in Triumph’s bold Performance Yellow/Graphite Black livery.

In essence the TXP range is two motorcycles in one and easily changeable between configurations

Power comes from Triumph-tuned brushless motors, starting with 600W on the TXP-12 and topping out with 1600W on the TXP-24. Each model uses lithium batteries with waterproofing, diagnostic support and tool-free removal for easy charging. Safety is also a big part of the package, with features such as PIN-protected parental controls, magnetic safety lanyards and two-stage start-up systems.

Prices kick off at £1,595 for the TXP-12, rising to £3,695 for the TXP-24. Pre-orders are open now through selected Triumph dealers, with bikes landing in time for Christmas.

The TXP range offers endless fun

Triumph CEO Nick Bloor hailed the project as “an exciting new chapter” for the brand, while OSET founder Ian Smith added: “It’s about taking fun seriously, and building the future of the sport.”

With OSET’s trials heritage and Triumph’s engineering know-how, the TXP looks set to put a whole new generation of riders on two wheels – and keep them there.
