Toni Bou secures X-Trial season opener
By Team TMX on 6th Oct 25

The X-Trial World Championship kicked off in Andorra on Saturday night with a stunning 1-2 for Repsol Honda teammates Toni Bou and Gabriel Marcelli. Bou’s victory was particularly hard fought for as a shoulder injury – that may require surgery – meant he was much less able to ride to his usual level and he was pushed all the way to the final section by an on-form Marcelli.
The fight for third place went to a tiebreak as Jaime Busto and recently crowned Trial2 World Champion Harry Hemingway couldn’t be separated though the six sections. Busto was quicker through the tiebreak section and took the final spot on the podium. Behind them, Francesco Titli placed fifth ahead of Jack Peace, Matteo Grattarola and Benoit Bincaz.
The X-Trial series continues in Madrid on November 25.
