FEW would dispute that David Knight is currently the most recognizable name in British motorcycle racing, his down to earth unpretentiousapproach is refreshing, and his focus and determination are respected and appreciated by his fans. His achievements are legendary and include World and US indoor and Outdoor Enduro championships, David is well known for his work ethic, competing in many events world wide. In addition to his already demanding day job, David (pictured above) will be doing a few night shifts starting with the first round of the FIM Indoor Enduro World Championship when the series fires up in the Sheffield Arena on Saturday October 31.
We managed to catch up with David while he was on the road somewhere in France:
T+MX: Hi David, thanks for taking the time in your busy schedule to talk to us.
David: No problem thanks for asking.
T+MX: British fans will have their first chance to see you in the first indoor enduro to be held in the UK at Sheffield on October 31, and it just happens to be the first round of this years FIM World Championship. What can the fans expect to see that sets these events apart from any other kind of racing?
David: Lots of crashes for a start, the Indoor Enduros are really close racing, lots of unexpected things happen and the race is definitely not over until you cross the finish line
