Fast and furious finale

THE ACU Express Insurance British Youth Motocross Championship heads to the fast and flowing circuit at Foxhill Moto Park on the weekend, September 12/ 13, for the Big One, yes it's the Final round of this year's BYMX championship! But, there is still some racing to be completed, as some of the classes are still yet to be decided. The Organisers of the meeting are the team from the ACU Events who have been working hard to make this a final not to miss. The track will be in perfect condition and ready for some fantastic racing, and some excellent activities are planned off the track over the weekend. This year's BYMX has been one of the best, as the riders and their families have travelled numerous miles to the best tracks all over the UK.
Congratulations must go to everyone who has been involved, be it the organisers, the clubs, the sponsors, families and of course the riders who have all made this a successful year.
In the Cobra backed Junior 65cc class, Conrad Mewse leads by a healthy 141 points from second man Henry Williams. With Sid Evans just another 77 points behind Williams this could see the battle for second and third places go all the way as I am sure Mewse will continue his reign and take the championship title.
After the battles at Brampton in the last round Ben Watson still leads the PAR Homes Small-wheel class by 132 points, but new second placed man Connor Clark will be trying his best again to cause some upsets, along with Callan Cooper who is just one point behind Clark.
The Big-wheel 85cc class has been close all through the year and current leader Ryan Houghton will have to be on his guard as he as only a 58-point lead over Nathan Watson in second. This one is going down to the wire and will be the one to watch, as they all up their game to take the title.
Josh Waterman will be hoping for a better performance at this meeting after been blown away by old rival Luke Hawkins, who won all five races at Brampton. But knowing Josh he will be saving his best to last to add another title to go with his MXY2 title.
Jack Rowland is only 135 points behind Waterman and is also on form. Connor Walkley is just 71 points behind Rowland and could make it into second place, but it's going to be hard as Hawkins is just 31 points behind him. Waterman should claim his title but who knows who is going to get the minor places of second and third.
