By TMX Archives on 3rd Jun 11
The Mintex Trophy Trial goes National on June 26, making the Richmond Motor Clubs time and observation trial in Scott Trial country the only Youth event of its kind in the British Isles.
The Mintex runs the same as the Scott Trial, and is organised by the same team that stage the October national. The format runs under the Scott Trial rules, but for Youth Class A and B. Richmond have also introduced a Female award plus best Newcomer and an endeavour award.
The regulations will be out in the next few days so check T+MX News regs columns or log on to www.richmond.motorclub.com. Please note that the Mintex Trial is a timed event across open moorland which is private. That means no motorcycles other than those ridden by officials. It would be wise to check carbutetion as most trials machine are not tuned for prolonged open throttle riding. All the sections will be at the usual A and B standard.
