Nostalgic memories...

For those who dont already know, the Kendal Classic MCCs Nostalgia Trial, which will take place on Saturday, August 20, is back to running back to back with the famous Nostalgia Scramble (Sunday August 21) so that riders, spectators and officials can all make a weekend of it.
This follows last year's experiment of splitting the two events over two weekends.
The Nostalgia Trial is restricted to Pre-65 and Twin-shock machines with no fewer than eight classes which are Rigid, Pre-unit, Two-stroke, Unit, British Specials, Trail Bike, Twin-shockand Twin-cylinder. There is an optional Easy route - but you are not allowed to switch routes on the day!
The venue is the same as usual, Holme Farm, Middleton near Sedbergh which is accessed and will be signed from J37 off the M6. It will be sponsored once again by Sammy Miller Products and Coniston Brewing Company.
Riders who provide an observer will have their entry fee refunded but this must be notified on the entry form. Entries will close on Friday, July 29 and NO entries will be taken on the day. Entry numbers will be limited so you are advised to enter early or risk disappointment.
If you haven't got hold of a set of Regs yet your contact is Ken Shuttleworth, Sunrise, BackLane, Warton, Carnforth, Lancs, LA5 9QU.
The Nostalgia trial and scramble are the culmination of a whole week of nostalgic motorcycle events which include road and trail rides.
