SHERCO has just released a new, more affordable, trials model which they have named the Sherco Access as the idea is it will allow more people access to a new trials bike whether they are already involved in the sport or looking to take up trials riding! The basic spec machine is still a highly competent competition model and is available in both 250 and 290 two-stroke form. Yorkshire character James Bobble' Noble rode one of the first Access models to arrive in Britain in the East Yorks Two Day trial last weekend and bagged a second-class award. This included riding the sections very early on the opening day when the stream sections were very slippery. He found the Access dead easy to ride with a really controllable, progressive engine.
By the time you read this, British Sherco importers Malcolm Rathmell Sport should have stocks of both 250 and 290 models which are priced at identically at a bargain 3,400 inc VAT.
