Ahola tops Genoa Indoor

HONDA-mounted Finn Mika Ahola claimed victory at the third running of the Genoa Indoor Enduro in Italy at the weekend, finishing an action packed six-lap final ahead of Spain's Xavi Galindo on his KTM and Yamaha-mounted Frenchman. Johnny Aubert.
With 2006 event winner David Knight not competing due to his ongoing preparations for this weekend's Le Touquet beach race any one of half a dozen riders looked capable of winning the event, but Ahola's calm approach saw him claim the top spot at the year's first major international enduro event.
