The 2007 World Enduro Championship preview took place in San Remo, Italy, last Friday and the majority of this year's top WEC riders and teams were on hand to strut their stuff in what for many was the first official shake-down of the new season.
With the eight-round series again starting in Sweden prior to heading overseas to the US and Canada before returning to Europe and finishing in France, the day-long preview saw Stefan Merriman wheel out his new twin-cylinder Aprilia, former World Motocross Champion Fred Bolley take his first tentative steps towards a new enduro career aboard his Gas Gas EC300 and reigning Enduro 1 world champion Ivan Cervantes show off his talents on the KTM 525EXC on which he will compete in this season's E3 class.
With a morning session set aside for group photos the afternoon saw many riders take to the seaside special test with the WEC's experienced riders rubbing shoulders with several of the championship's newer riders.
