COLIN Appleyard Motorcycles, at Keighley, will be sponsoring up and coming Motocross star, Sam Winterburn from Bolton Abbey. Sam , aged 13, is stepping up to a brand new challenge next season when he rides a Suzuki Big-wheel 85 against boys up to 16 years-old in the British Youth Championship, the Scottish Championship and the British Masters, which starts next March. Colin Appleyard's General Manager Kevin Feeny said: As a company we do everything we can to encourage young talent in both on and off-road motor sport. Sam has already shown he has the ability to go all the way to the top and his potential has been spotted by some of the great names in Motocross. A broken leg in May disrupted his progress last season but with his new bike we're sure he will go from strength to strength. We wish him the very best of luck.
