Hot on the heels of the third GBXC round at Saints Well last weekend, the series continues with round four, which is running at The Gaer, Golfa, near Welshpool, over the weekend of June 9/10.

Although the Gaer has been used before by the Fast Eddy Crew, riders can expect a few subtle changes to the already excellent course, which has proved very popular at past events.

Two woodlands linked by several field sections featuring rolling banks and ditches with a small quarry section thrown in for good measure, the Gaer provides an unrivalled mix of terrain that should suit all riders.

On Saturday, June 9, the third round of the GBXC Sprint Cross Championship will run over a slightly shortened course, which is expected to be fairly quick, while on Sunday, June 10, the venue will host the fourth round of the GBXC Cross Country series.

The Sprint Cross event now includes a Youth class for riders from 11 years old to 16 giving younger riders an great opportunity to gain valuable experience at ‘Sprinting'.

The main GBXC race on Sunday will have a couple of extreme sections, but only for the more experienced riders in the Pro, Expert, Clubman and Veteran classes, which race on Sunday afternoon. The morning race for Sportsman, Novice and Youth 13-16, plus Ladies, will bypass the extreme sections.

Fast Eddy Racing is still offering great value with a £10 discount if riders wish to ride on both days. There is no extra cost for riders wishing to simply turn up and ride.

Postcode for the event is SY21 9BD.
