The deal was struck earlier this week when KTM Managing Director, Sean Sisterson, agreed to lend the magazine one of the much sought-after orange racers as a long-term project quad.
Baldwin was without a firm deal for 2008 and QUAD columnist and Baldwin's 2007 Team Manager, Richard Cole, managed to broker the deal for Baldwin to campaign the big XC at national level and keep the magazine's readers posted.
Baldwin was delighted with the deal. "I had a quick test in the wet last week and I can honestly say that it is the best quad I have ever ridden. The deal with QUAD allows me to sort out a few personal sponsors and the magazine is helping me with contacts, support and of course some publicity. I'm really looking forward to this season now and putting the last couple of difficult seasons behind me.”
