Honda Motor Europe is pleased to announce that the 2013 Honda 150 European Championship, which is a one-make series with an all-in package to race will take place at five of Europes top motocross tracks in the summer as part of the FIM World Motocross Championship.
This special series offers riders aged 11-14 the opportunity to compete at Grand Prix tracks as part of the World Championship paddock to further their racing education aboard fourstroke machinery.
To make it simple Honda is offering an all-inclusive deal including the ownership of a CRF150R, fuel, tyres, motorcycle transportation, parts, work stations and tools, as well as coaching from World Championship-level racers in a special facility at each race.
This great opportunity means riders only need to arrive at the circuit with their racing gear and race.
In addition to that the prize for winning the series is a ride with Honda supported team Garibaldi Honda in the E-MX2 championship the following year, depending on age.
The cost for the series is low due to the new support from PATA Chips and Dunlop tyres so the official price is now 7950 Euro (including VAT), which includes all of the above and entry fees.
At the end of the season the CRF150R raced by each rider will be theirs to keep.
2013 Honda 150 European Championship calendar is:
JUNE 09: Ernée, France
JUNE 16 Maggiora, Italy
JULY 28: Lausitzring, Germany
AUG 18: Bastogne, Belgium
AUG 25: Matterley Basin, England
This new initiative is part of Honda's commitment to growing young riders in the sport and giving them the opportunity at a low price to cut their teeth on some of the best tracks in Europe.
It gives youngsters an insight and experience of racing at Grand Prix events amongst the World's best, as well as mentoring from Honda staff throughout the summer.
