It’s a Minne adventure

This week the Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship made a return to Minneapolis Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome for the 14th round of the series, where, in front of nearly 50,000 home fans, KTMs Ryan Dungey went head-to-head with series leader Ryan Villopoto to snatch the win.
Meanwhile in the Eastern 250 class, Marvin Musquin was able to make it a KTM double as he led the whole 15-laps for his fourth win in five races.
As the gate dropped in the highly anticipated 450 class it was holeshot maestro, Mike Alessi who got the jump to fire into the first turn in the number one position.
However it didn't take long for reigning champ Villopoto to hit the gas and take over the lead. Then, just moments later, Dungey was also on the move and came round Alessi to sit in second.
Running in first and second, these two set the stage for an enthralling battle. Quickly they pulled way to gap third placed Davi Millsaps, and for 15-laps raced with a second separating them before Dungey was able to reel Villopoto in.
Gaining momentum, Dungey saw his chance on lap-16, and managed to find a way through as the pair passed the finish line jump.
Villopoto was not content though to sit back and take second, and with the massive crowd on the edge of their seats, re-took the position soon after the start straight.
Once again Dungey found himself on Villopoto's back wheel, and before the green machine could pull away, made another move on the rhythm section.
The pair raced nearly side-by-side for a while before Dungey was able to make a pass stick and eke out a small lead to take the win.
