Bolton secures Putoline crown

The Dirtbike-Traxs team produced another outstanding weekend's sport at the superb Gisburn venue, set in the heart of the stunning Ribble Valley with parts of the course following the banks of the scenic River Ribble itself.
Over the weekend over 420 riders competed in thevarious races that formed the eighth round of the UK's most popularHare Scramble series, and, because of cancelled events during thesummer, the final round of the Sinisalo championship.
The Dirtbike-Traxs team had spent weeks preparingthe course and an impressive start area. On Saturday the Youth, Juniorand Senior B riders got their chance to sample the awesome course,using just a portion of the full Championship course.
In glorious sunshine, the start signal was givenand 50 youngsters blasted off. In Senior B, Joe Deakin, and BillyRobinson set the early pace but Deakin soon started to edge away and heeventually claimed a clear cut win, completing 14 laps.
The chasing pack contained Billy Robinson second, Davey Todd third, and William Hillas fourth, who all completed13 laps.
In the Junior race Luke Flack and Michael Tathambattled for top spot and the winner was only decided by 0.4 of a secondin favour of Flack. Both riders completed 12 laps. Third, on 11 laps,was Dan Bewlay.
