O'Neal to sponsor Robbie and Lewis

FOLLOWING its product launch announcing the company '08 range of race kit and accessories at Mallory Park last week, clothing manufacturer O'Neal threw a little surprise into the presentation, releasing news of its sponsored race team for next season.

Robbie Muscat and Lewis Abbot who make up the‘Full Throttle MX' team based in Bournemouth (not to be confused withFull Throttle MX in Newbury) will be representing the O'Neal brand outon the track for the whole of next season, whilst negotiations areunderway with another rider to represent the brand in the Adult classes.

Storming through the card in the Big-wheel 85ccclass, Muscat has won every round of the British Masters Championshipso far and already appears to have one hand on the trophy, while thesecond step of the podium beckons in the BYMX series.

Moving into the 125cc Senior class this year,team-mate Lewis Abbot has more than shown his potential out on thedirt, clinching fifth spot in the Elite Youth Cup whilst currentlysitting a very comfortable third overall in the BSMA series, with thelast round being held at Little Silver this coming weekend September 23.

Commenting on the lucrative deal with O'Neal,which includes all the teams' race kit and ancilliary products, FTMXboss Graham Moore said, ‘‘Both lads are well mannered and a joy to workwith and we are very pleased to be representing the O'Neal brand fornext year''.
